Arlington Newborn Session | Baby Delilah

This Arlington newborn session was such a joy to photograph. Julia, the mother, is the sister of my best friend, so it is always so wonderful to see our friends’ families grow!

I went to their Arlington home the week of Thanksgiving to photograph this special time for them. Baby Delilah was the sweetest little thing. The session itself ran so smoothly, and we even got some photos with their dogs.

What I love about newborn sessions is that I don’t need a lot of space to photograph. The majority of this session was photographed in front of a large window in their living room, creating the perfect lighted space. I always decide where to photograph based on the light since it is the number one factor that affects how your photos will look. This small space did the job beautifully, and I love how Julia and Sam trusted me.
