We took these Jones Point Park family photos for Gemma’s one year celebration. I did the parent’s maternity photos in Alexandria last year, as well as Gemma’s newborn photos this past winter. The one year session is a culmination of all the growth that happens in the first year and ties in the whole story together.
We chose to photograph Gemma’s one year session at Jones Point Park in Alexandria, VA because it is a beautiful location all year round and was close to home – a factor I always like to consider with little ones! We photographed this family session on a chilly November morning, but you would never have known it was so cold! Gemma (and mom and dad!) did a wonderful job, and we were graced with the most stunning morning light.
