This was baby Felicity’s milestone session. I photographed her Silver Spring newborn photos a few months prior. Katie and Tyler are membership clients, so they have 3-4 sessions over the course of baby’s first year to document all the sweet milestones. The most common sessions photographed in a membership are maternity, newborn, six months, and one year – each stage is beautiful and unique in its own way!
Although baby Felicity was a newborn the last time I saw her, she was all smiles and personality for this session! We met on a warm summer evening for their Arlington family photos in Bon Air Rose Garden. This location is absolutely stunning in summertime. The roses generally bloom from spring through early fall, so it really is accessible for a lot of the year. Not only did we catch a lot of roses, but we also were delighted to see the purple Russian sage in bloom.
I love garden locations not only for their colors and romantic setting, but also for the symbolism of growth with families.
