I believe that motherhood should be photographed as beautifully as wedding photography. After all, motherhood is a continuation after the wedding day for many, and it should be photographed as such.

This maternity session at The Great Marsh Estate in Northern VA was so whimsical and ethereal. Pregnancy is a magical period of waiting. Although it is not always comfortable or easy, there is a wonder at what life will be like when your little one arrives. It is a fresh start, a place to begin.

Kristin wore a stunning Needle & Thread gown from the client wardrobe and sported a luscious bouquet from Petal’s Edge Floral Design. She opted for professional hair and make-up by Lori Nansi. I always recommend this addition to make you feel comfortable and confident! These details elevated the scene and mirrored the magic of this waiting period. It was a gorgeous spring evening as we wandered the grounds of the estate, basking in the sun’s warm rays. I love how Kristin trusted me to create meaningful art.
