Family Photo Session at the US Capitol, Washington DC

This family photo session at the US Capitol in Washington DC made me pinch myself. The venues and locations I photograph at can be truly stunning. This session was photographed at the U.S. Capitol Building on a beautiful spring morning. Although it was primarily cloudy, we were gifted with gorgeous, even light. Mom, dad, baby, and aunt met me at one of DC’s classiest landmarks for their Washington, D.C. family session. I had another family session at the U.S. Capitol Building before and loved it!

This location was extra special for this family since they call Capitol Hill their home – it was only fitting we photograph there! I love photographing at locations that hold special meaning to a family. It just adds extra value to the experience so you can cherish the images even more. Mom had her hair and make-up done by Lori Nansi and wore a beautiful, flowy dress from the client wardrobe. It made the style classic and timeless – just like this DC landmark.

I had so much fun playing with this little toddler! Although family photographer Washington, D.C. sessions can be energetic, we are also able to document the beauty in the in-between. I think you’ll notice that below. I hope you enjoy this Washington, D.C. family session.
