I do a lot of maternity photography in Alexandria VA, and Old Town is one of my favorite locations! From the stunning morning light to the cobblestone streets, it makes for a beautiful location for photos.
Michelle lived in Old Town, so we knew that Old Town Alexandria was the perfect spot for their maternity photos. We met on a brisk October morning, but you would never know it was rather cold! Old Town Alexandria is beautiful from spring through fall, and early morning brings the most stunning light. There are a couple streets that I always gravitate to when I do maternity photography in Alexandria VA. I find that the cobblestone streets add beautiful texture to photos, and I love the way the alleys create leading lines of interest.
Michelle and Evan have a dog, so we knew we had to include big sister in the photos! I have clients ask me all the time if they can include their dog. The answer is almost always yes! The only time we cannot include our furry friends is if a location specifically does not allow pets. This is sometimes the case with garden locations, but we did not run into that problem in Old Town.
