We did Mayo Beach Park photos for Rory’s one year session. It was the perfect location for this one year old boy’s final milestone session because it was the middle of summer. This sweet family had also just moved to the Crofton area from DC, so Mayo Beach Park in Edgewater, MD was such a fun spot to commemorate this milestone.
This was Rory’s last session in the luxury membership, meaning we photographed his maternity, newborn, and six months session prior! The one year session is often so meaningful; the first year is a blur, but each stage brings new developments and discoveries!
We had a blast capturing Rory’s one year session at Mayo Beach Park! The summer vibes and beautiful scenery made it an ideal backdrop to celebrate this special milestone. I love how there is a section of the park with beautiful wildflowers that we ventured to after splashing in the water for a bit. There is also a playground that little ones can go to!
It was great to see this lovely family who recently moved from DC enjoying their new surroundings while reflecting on all the wonderful moments from Rory’s first year. Each session has been a joy, and it’s amazing to see how much he’s grown and changed since his maternity and newborn shoots!
