This family session at Glenview Mansion was a Rockville MD family photographers dream! Marie told me she wanted her maternity/family session to feel like a morning at home, so we planned for a relaxed and natural session at Glenview Mansion in Rockville.
Glenview Mansion is a great session location. It’s easy because the light is good for both morning and evening, and there is easy parking. Even better, there is no permit required! We have a historic home as our backdrop, along with a wide open field, some stone arches, and a little fountain that can be fun for the kids to play in.
Marie was expecting her third boy, so we knew we wanted a natural and relaxed environment for our session so the boys could run around and have fun. We began with images in front of the house so the boys could play and run in the open field. We then walked into the area by the beautiful pillars in front of the house for some images of both fun and rest! There we got some very peaceful images of Marie resting against the columns as she admired her sweet boys.
We finished by the fountain so the boys could dip their toes in the water and have some fun! Then, the boys went back to the car while I grabbed some quick shots of just mom and her beautiful baby bump!
