As a Maryland photographer, I photograph Rockville newborn photography sessions frequently. This session was so special and unique because we photographed both indoors and outdoors! I love in-home newborn sessions for their ease and flexibility. When we’re in the comfort of your home we can move at a relaxed pace. If baby need to stop to feed, no problem! If you need to stop for water or a snack, no problem! I always follow the flow of a family, so in-home newborn sessions are peaceful and relaxed. And bonus – your pets can leisurely join us, as well (spot the kitty below!).

One thing I love to do during in-home sessions is pop outside if the season is showing off. In this case, there were a couple rows of gorgeous maple trees during Caroline’s October newborn session. I think it’s beautiful to remember the season and the day-to-day of the time frame that baby was born during, and grabbing some outdoor photos is a great way to do that! We incorporated the luscious fall tones, and my, how worth it it was!
