This Maryland family photo session was so special. “Being a mother is getting to experience the world again every day. I have to make a conscious effort to slow down and remember that. It is all new for them.” These wise words from my dear friend Laura ring true to all mothers. Children often remind us to take a step back, live in the moment, and tuck it away for safe keeping.
I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and her sweet family last week, and boy, did we luck out with the gorgeous spring weather and blooms! We photographed at Mulberry Fields, a beautiful historic home in southern Maryland. The property stretches out to the waters of the Potomac, so we even enjoyed some sand with our sun. Above all, a good time was had by all.
