Could this family session with wisteria in DC have been any more romantic (and adorable?!)? This session was a six month milestone session for baby boy. I had photographed this family’s maternity and newborn sessions, and now we got to photograph this adorable stage of six months. Six months is such a sweet milestone for babies because they are often full of personality and sweet details.

We chose a garden in Georgetown DC that was in peak bloom with gorgeous wisteria. It was simply a dream! We wandered the garden and took in all the surrounding beauty. The wisteria bloomed slightly early this year, so we also were able to catch some pink cherry blossoms!

You wouldn’t know it, but baby boy was actually quite fussy during the first part of this session. The great thing about these family sessions is you don’t have to worry about your little ones “behaving” – we’ll be able to capture beauty with them being just the way they are. Often times, I can get some of the most beautiful session images from parents comforting their children, like you’ll see here in this session.
