These Bishop’s Garden photos of this beautiful family are the definition of romantic nostalgia! This was the second time I photographed Margaret’s family and the first time we got to see her sweet baby girl! Margaret knew she wanted a garden session, and Bishop’s Garden served as the perfect backdrop to achieve the romance we were after.

Bishop’s Garden is beautiful from early spring through fall. In spring, the gardens boast a gorgeous cherry tree or two, in summer the roses and lavender are in full bloom, and in fall there are usually some gorgeous white flowers and roses still going strong. What makes Bishop’s Garden a unique location is also its architecture. There are a couple of gorgeous doors that lead into the garden, which is surrounded by a stone fence. Bonus – there is an Open City Cafe in the cutest little stone building. You can grab a coffee and snack before strolling through the garden! Bishop’s Garden does require a photo permit.

For Margaret’s session, we lucked out with the most entrancing fog. It felt like Mr. Darcy was going to walk out at any moment! The way the sun hit the fog was absolute perfection. I hope you enjoy these Bishop’s Garden photos of this romantic family session.
