Classic DC Family Photography Session

Jill and her darling family recently moved from San Francisco to the district. We only thought it fitting that we capture her classic family photography session in front of a DC staple, the U.S. Capitol Building. The Capitol Building is the epitome of elegance in the city. Therefore, it serves as the perfect backdrop for a picnic, a run, or a family photography session.

We ventured out on a crisp, beautiful fall October morning.  As a result, we had the city all to ourselves and were gifted with the beautiful rising sun. It was a bit nippy, but you would never know with all of the smiles and laughter. I adore playing games with kids during sessions to get their personalities to shine. We had the best time keeping up with her little ones as we chased the gorgeous morning light.
