One of my favorite kinds of sessions to photograph is a DC cherry blossoms family session, and this session did not disappoint! We watched the forecast continually for weeks to confirm both the bloom and weather predictions. The key with a cherry blossom photo session is to be flexible. The bloom forecast actually changed a number of times, so Jill and her family just went with the flow. We had to adjust the session twice when the peak changed, and it paid off. We almost had to change it a third time due to rain in the forecast, but we tried our luck. Instead of rain, we got beautiful even light to compliment the pink blossoms perfectly.
