You’ll love this in-home maternity session. Julia and JP were the sweetest couple to photograph in their Washington, D.C. historic home. We had so much fun (and laughs) as we chased the light from their large windows during their in-home maternity session. We had to reschedule their maternity session twice due to weather and illness, so I am so glad we were able to squeeze the session in before she gave birth.
Light is one of the most important factors when it comes to photography. We had to reschedule on a stormy day, even though we were going to be inside. Then, illness forced another reschedule – that’s why I recommend scheduling maternity sessions between 28-32 weeks in the event of any reschedules! Luckily, the third time is the charm, and we were gifted with gorgeous summer light, pouring through their stunning windows.
