This timeless family photo session was photographed at Mulberry Fields in Southern Maryland. Mulberry Fields is a private property located on the water in Southern Maryland. It has a gorgeous, historic manor, luscious fields, and overlooks the Potomac River. It really has everything that will make a session beautiful!
I have photographed Laura’s family at Mulberry Fields once before, so I was thrilled to photograph her family there again. Although we didn’t have the blooms we had at their last session, we had the most beautiful evening light that made everything feel magical. The children danced and ran around, yet there were moments of pause and loving connection, as well. It truly was whimsical.
I love Maryland family sessions for many reasons. The juxtaposition of play and pause is always so much fun and beautiful to document. This session was no different. The youngest was full of energy, bouncing around. However, we were able to capture some quiet moments with her throughout our time at Mulberry Fields. Laura’s oldest was also so sweet.
