As a Georgetown family photographer, I absolutely adore the opportunity to photograph at Tudor Place in DC. It is a lovely Federal-style manor and gardens set on five acres in the middle of Georgetown. Can you believe it is set on five acres in the middle of DC? It is such a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.
When Alaina shared that one of her favorite books was The Secret Garden, we didn’t need to look further than Tudor Place. Tudor Place offers such a peaceful location for family photos. They do require a permit, but with that permit we have access to the entire property, making for a quiet and smooth session (especially with little ones!). The location always offers some lovely blooms for children to admire.
