Wow, it’s hard to believe I am entering the 7th(!!!!!) year of my business. I feel so grateful for the growth and prosperity this business has experienced, especially knowing that most businesses don’t make it past the first 7 years. 2022 was the best year yet of my business, yet I have even bigger plans for 2023.
In the new year, I want to provide an even more customized experience to serve moms. Currently, I provide hair and make-up, wardrobe, and heirloom artwork so you don’t have to worry about session details!
I want to elevate and curate these details even more to provide the ultimate luxury experience, all while providing beautiful motherhood photos. To be honest, I’m not sure what this looks like yet. All I know is that I take great joy in knowing I am serving moms in an honest, beautiful way.
Also in the works for the new year is a short guide to help moms take better photos of their children. I know how busy moms are, so I am intentionally creating a petite guide that is packed with useful tips you can apply today to elevate your iPhone photos! This will hopefully be released in early 2023.
2022 introduced me to the photography education world. I co-hosted my first workshop via The Kindred Path and opened up mentoring for other motherhood photographers.
I can’t share the specific details yet, but I have BIG plans for motherhood photographers in this new year. I think a lot of motherhood photographers know how to create beautiful art but struggle with the business side of things.
Unfortunately, this often leads to their businesses closing after only a few years – a true shame with the amount of talent out there! I want to be able to assist other motherhood photographers with not only finding their niche but letting it sing from the rooftops, bringing in dream clients. Running a profitable business is so important to me because it allows me to create my best work for the beautiful moms I serve, all while being able to be present for my family. I want this for other motherhood photographers and CANNOT wait to begin serving them on this journey!
