This maternity studio session with daughter and mother was so precious. I photographed Cecelia’s newborn session, so it is always a joy to see my clients’ families grow.

Cecelia is now expecting her second child and came for the 2022 Motherhood Event in the garden studio. Moms were treated to mimosas, custom mama cookies, professional make-up, and swag bags with goodies from local businesses.

I absolutely adore photographing maternity sessions with older siblings. These sessions are special for the obvious reasons, but my favorite aspect to document is the relationship between mother and child before the family grows. It is a beautiful goodbye to the way things are and a delicate introduction into a new phase. How special that I get to be a witness! I cannot wait to photograph this beautiful mama’s newborn session this summer.
