COVID Photography – Quarantine on Film

home

During the course of COVID, I delved into a new photography project. I, like many others, began picking up new habits and skills to occupy the time. For me, this manifested in photographing my little ones and home life with film, and I fell completely in love.

Film requires us to slow down and wait for the perfect moment before releasing the shutter – with only 16 frames per roll, we need to be patient and really dig deep for creativity. It requires us to live in the moment instead of constantly looking at the back of the camera. And who doesn’t love the colors and the sound of the film advancing when the shutter is released? Needless to say, film will become a part of my business and what I offer to clients from now on.

I hope you love these as much as me. Here was my COVID photography project – quarantine on film.
