I have always adored in-home newborn sessions; however, providing a photography studio DC is an option I would love to provide you as you prepare for your newborn session. The petite garden studio will serve as a cozy, intimate space for maternity, newborn, and motherhood sessions.
As I mentioned, there is nothing like photographing your family in your own home. However, I sometimes hear that new mamas are worried their home doesn’t have enough light or that the thought of cleaning with a newborn is overwhelming. I completely understand these sentiments. In fact, I did not get newborn photos when Rosie was born, one of my biggest regrets. I can assure you that this is a special time that you want to preserve, so I now provide the option of photographing you and your growing family in the garden studio.
My husband Zach built the garden studio over the course of many months. We decided to use refurbished materials to both preserve resources and provide a vintage aesthetic. We also wanted the space surrounded by florals, so we planted camellias, lavender, and an array of wildflowers. The result has been a gorgeous, radiant space full of light.
