All mothers know there is a certain point where you see the transition from baby to toddler. My darling Rosalie, or “Rosie,” has finally made the transition, and my heart just melted. Rosie’s first twelve months flew by because she was only born two months before COVID began. This time at home has blurred together. She has always been “Baby Rosie.”
I knew we had to pick up my camera and some film and capture her luscious rolls before they disappear. I even think I was a little too late and that she exhibits so much toddler in her in these images. Alas, we should all know babies don’t keep. That reality usually settles in when we realize the last days of babyhood are behind us.
