This Alexandria Maternity Session in Jones Point Park was somewhat unplanned, but wow, am I so glad it happened. Adrianne from Beatific Visions Photography, the lead founder of The Kindred Path, reached out to me last year to join the team at Kindred Path. The Kindred Path is a community of family photographers. It has been such a blessing to be a part of such a supportive community during the past year.

We were finally able to meet up for a socially-distanced get-together in person. Becca and Lauren, the other co-founders, also joined, and we had the best time. We chatted all things photography, motherhood, and of course, took pictures.

Adrianne is expecting her third baby, so we naturally transformed her photos into a stunning Alexandria Maternity Session. We ventured out along the water in Jones Point Park on a winter morning. She looked gorgeous in a flowing floral dress and sunhat. The session was captured on film, further adding to that whimsical aesthetic. I adore photographing with film for this reason. It portrays mothers in a soft, nostalgic lens, and film is so flattering. Hope you enjoy this impromptu maternity session as much as I did.
