Twin Family Session | Washington DC

This twin family session outside of Washington DC was simply to die for! Alex and her beautiful family met me at Brookside Gardens in early fall for this family session documenting her sweet 8 month old twins. Brookside Gardens is one of my favorite session locations in the DC area for its gorgeous scenery all year long.

Even though this session was photographed in October, we were able to have beautiful roses and other bright florals to accent this lovely family.

Eight months is such a fun age to photograph! These twin girls were not yet walking, so we were able to really capture a lot of personality and smiles. 6-8 months is a good age in general to photograph. Once babies start walking, they definitely have their own agendas!

This beautiful family met me on an early October morning, so we had much of the gardens to ourselves. I cannot recommend morning sessions enough, particularly for little ones. The light is soft and flattering, you’ll have the entire space to yourselves, and most importantly – your little ones will be in the best spirits!
