This Joint Base Andrews newborn session with two bigger siblings was so precious! I have had the honor of photographing Samantha on a number of occasions – her Meridian Hill Park maternity session with her daughter, her last newborn session, and her studio maternity session with baby Leland. Time and time again, I always say that the best part of this job is seeing families grow!

This newborn session was photographed using one wall in their home, and this is really all I need. Where I photograph is determined by light, and this one room had ample light pouring in from a window. We don’t need an elaborate backdrop because as you’ll find from this session, the light makes all the difference! I loved how the light hit mom, dad, and baby throughout the session, making it all the more magical.
