DAR Constitution Hall Family Session

Laura reached out to me to photograph their DAR Constitution Hall family session during their DC stay this summer. Laura and her family live in San Francisco and were spending the summer in the city. This was the first session I photographed at DAR Constitution Hall, and I LOVED it!

DAR Constitution Hall had that classic DC elegance without the hustle and bustle of the monuments. I love photographing at the monuments, but they involve a lot of planning, walking, and some external factors out of our control (i.e. events, protests, security, etc.!). The great aspect about this DAR Constitution family session was that we could park directly in front of the building, there were no other people around, and we had gorgeous morning light. It created the perfect backdrop for this romantic DC family session.
